Mediterranean Cooperation
CETMO brings over 35 years of experience in Governmental and Inter-Institutional International Cooperation in Multilateral, Bilateral, North-South, South-South, and Triangular situations, facilitating Policy Creation and promoting Knowledge Transfer and Capacity Support Cooperation in the areas of Technology and Planning Cooperation and Sharing Policy Experience.
Our organisation has extensive experience with Policy Makers, including the European Commission, the Arab Maghreb Union, and particularly the group of Transport Ministries GTMO 5+5, as well as International Financial Institutions, such as the European Investment Bank and the Islamic Development Bank. CETMO also coordinates and works with Academia, Think Tanks and a broad network of Infrastructure Administrators, Logistic Operators, and Professional Trade and Corporate Associations.
Knowledge Creation
CETMO supports Cooperation and the improvement of transport and logistics conditions by means of actionable analysis and recommendations, developed through 115 projects and publications in Infrastructure Analysis and Regional Planning, Transport System Performance Enhancement and Efficiency Innovation and Sustainability.

Knowledge Transfer
In order to achieve the greatest possible impact, all analysis and knowledge is systematically transferred and disseminated through conferences, workshops, publications, and seminars.
CETMO has extensive experience in the organisation of knowledge transfer activies. Thus far, we have organised 198 events attended by 9,850 administration members and professionals, with the participation of multiple collaborating entities. These encounters are designed as spaces for divulgation and innovation, as well as cooperation, debate and the exchange of practical experiences and knowledge.
The Centre for Western Mediterranean Transportation Studies, CETMO, from the acronym of Centre d’Etudes des Transports pour la Méditeranée Occidentale, has centered its work on the Mediterranean Region, whilst maintaining an interest in the sustainable development of Africa and Developing Countries overall.
